Amped Virtual Reality offers a variety of VR games with options for all ages, even the little ones! Some of the options include Spider-Man, Minecraft, Epic Roller Coasters, Beat Saber, and so much more. All of these games can be enjoyed in the comfort of the VR lounge complete with either open space to play or comfy chairs (depending on what type of game you are playing). The space is complete with state-of-the-art equipment, headsets, and lighting that gives you the complete virtual experience.

Try an Escape Room!
Escape Rooms are all the rage and another great adventure to have in Grand Rapids! And there are several great options in the Grand Rapids area to experience an Escape Room. The basic premise is that you and your crew have 60 minutes to solve the clues within the room to “escape”. Escape rooms are great for a night out, birthday parties, or for an afternoon with the family!
The Ruse
The Ruse, located right downtown Grand Rapids near GRNoir Wine and Jazz, offers two different room experiences. The Inventors room and the Trophy room both offer unique escape challenges that are perfect for newbies and escape room veterans alike. They also offer an outdoor escape room that features 10 locations around downtown Grand Rapids.
Locked 460
Located on 28th Street, Locked 460 has three rooms to choose from including Apartment 460, Lou’s Garage, and Wanted. Each of which offers a fun and interesting escape experience that transports you into different eras in history.
The Great Escape Room
The Great Escape Room offers several fun escape room options, some even with live performances! They offer three Escape rooms with live actors: Infirmary: Surgical Crisis Escape Room, Poker Night at the President’s Bunker Escape Room, and Escape Artist: The Final Seance Escape Room which is 75 minutes. They also offer scavenger hunt escape rooms and will even bring the experiences to your workplace for team building!
Adventure Down the Grand River
Take a trip down the Grand River! This adventurous experience will take you down the beautiful river that runs right through the heart of Downtown Grand Rapids. Go Ziplining at Cannonsburg
Next on our adventurous things to do in Grand Rapids list is to go ziplining at Cannonsburg! The Cannonsburg Zip Line Adventure Tour is perfect for zip line regulars and first-timers alike. They host a 5-station tour that includes zip lines under the canopies of trees and other beautiful scenery. Each tour can accommodate up to 8 people. The experience lasts about 1.5 hours with zip lines ranging from 300-600 feet with speeds up to 40mph! To record this adventure, Cannonsburg even offers helmet-mounted GoPros for rent.

Fowling
The GR Bucket List has partnered with the Fowling Warehouse Grand Rapids to bring you this next, fun and exciting experience! The Fowling Warehouse is the home of the original football bowling pin game called Fowling! Rain or shine, it’s a great entertainment venue perfect for individuals, families, groups, and large teams to gather, play, have a few drinks, and have a blast! Never been a quarterback? No worries – ANYONE can do it! You’ll enjoy the teamwork, competition, and all the high fives. To win you just have to knock all of your pins down before your opponent knocks down theirs! The 45,000 sq. ft venue features two 45 foot-fully stocked bars, the $2 Mystery Beer Machine, and 30 lanes of Fowling fun, and the Bonk Honk!

TreeRunner Adventure Park
Go on a high-flying adventure at TreeRunner Adventure Park! This park, located near Knapps Corner, is the premier outdoor adventure park in the area. TreeRunner offers two different park options. The Aerial Park includes more than 60 obstacles, zip lines, five difficulty levels, and seven different courses. They also offer a Junior park designed for children four to seven including, two courses and 20 different obstacles.
